Ellen Zmolek was passionate about being active in Rochester area sports. Whether it was at a hockey rink, a football field, a baseball diamond, a basketball or volleyball court, or at a horse arena, being active was an essential part of her life. As a health and physical education teacher, Ellen taught children of all physical and mental abilities, as well as adults of all ages the importance of continuing to be active. She was an ambassador for the local sports community and no matter what your individual ability was she was there encouraging your participation. That passion of being active in local sports has been carried forward by all of those that were blessed to know her and be a part of her life.
