Applications due by September 1st, 2024

Each year the Rochester Sports Foundation Board of Director's review applications from local sport groups and consider awarding grants that meet the grant criteria. Up to $10,000 can be awarded annually. These dollars are raised at the annual Rochester Sports Banquet auction and 100% of the proceeds go towards the grant program.

Over the past years the following grants have been awarded through this grant program:

NOTABLE PROJECTS: The Community Grant Program has supported community sports organizations by  awarding more than $50,000 to improve sports facilities in Rochester including the following projects: • Rochester Swim Club: Funding diving boards at Rochester Rec Center -  2016 ($15,000) • Rochester Youth Fastpitch Softball: Funding electronic scoreboard – 2016 ($13,000) • Rochester Pickleball Club: Funding court development. – 2016 ($2,500) • Official Love Referee Organization – 2018 ($1,500) • Sports Mentorship Academy – 2022 ($5,000) • Rochester Youth Fastpitch Softball: Fencing – 2019 ($13,500); RCTC Softball indoor spectator safety netting - 2024 ($2,919)
