Rochester Sports Foundation to Award $10,000 to Local Sports Groups

Each year the Rochester Sports Foundation holds a sports themed silent auction at the Annual Rochester Area Sports banquet. 100% of these funds are awarded in grants to the various community sports associations. This year (Feb 2nd, 2025) $10,000 in grants will be awarded to four local groups. The money from this years auction will be available to local groups later this year - with applications due by September 1st, 2025.

We would like to bring to attention of our auction donors - listed on the donor page of this site. Team 25 is the title sponsor as local hockey legend and Stanley Cup winner Shjon Podein's Foundation is key in supporting this event. A special thank you goes out to him and his organization!

In addition, there are dozens of area businesses and folks that support this event.
